Terms of Service
Effective date: September 18, 2026 · Last updated: September 18, 2026
These terms describe how the site works today and are written to be accurate rather than exhaustive. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer and they are not legal advice. Centered TV Mounting should have its own counsel review them as the business grows.
About this site
centvmount.com is the website of Centered TV Mounting, a TV mounting and installation brand. Centered TV Mounting is the name this business trades under.
The site shows the kind of TV installation work that gets arranged through it and lets you describe your project so an estimate can be put together. It is a way to start a conversation about a job. It is not a store: nothing on it can be bought or paid for online.
What we do, and who does the work
Through this website we:
- take inquiries from people who want a TV mounted;
- collect the details of the job;
- provide preliminary estimate information where the estimator supports it;
- let you schedule a call;
- and coordinate contact between you and an installation professional who can carry out the work.
The installation itself may be performed by an independent installation provider or installation company rather than by us. Where that is the case, that provider will confirm the scope with you, agree the final price, schedule the installation, perform the work, and be paid by you directly.
So the arrangement for the work itself is between you and the provider who does it. Anything you and that provider agree — the scope, the final price, the schedule, payment, and any guarantee or cancellation terms specific to your job — is what governs that job, and it overrides anything on this site that conflicts with it.
No payment for an installation is processed through this website. We do not collect card or bank details here, we do not take deposits, and nothing on this site charges you.
Agreeing to these terms
By using the site or sending us an estimate request, you agree to these terms. In them, “we” and “us” mean Centered TV Mounting, and “you” means the person using the site. If you are arranging work for a household or a business, you are agreeing on its behalf as well as your own, and you confirm you are allowed to do that.
You need to be 18 or older to request an estimate or arrange work through this site. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the estimate form.
Where work is available
Centered TV Mounting currently takes TV installation work in New York, New Jersey and Florida. That is where we look for an installation professional — it is not a promise that every ZIP code in those states can be served. Availability for a specific address is confirmed from the ZIP code you give at the start of the estimate, and nothing is scheduled before that is checked. We may decline a request: the usual reasons are that the project is outside the work we arrange, outside the area we can reach, or something we do not think can be done safely.
Estimates are informational
The estimate form does not show a price. It ends by confirming we have what we need, and we follow up with the estimate itself. An estimate is information, not a contract. It is not an offer that you can accept to create a binding agreement, and it does not reserve a time, an installer or any equipment.
Sending the form asks us to get in touch. A job exists only once the work and the price have been agreed with you and a date and time has been confirmed with you directly — usually by the installation professional who will carry it out.
How the final price is set
The final price is confirmed by the installation professional once the actual conditions in the room have been seen. Things that can change it include the wall material and what is inside the wall, the height and position you want, the weight and size of the TV, the mount being used, how the cables need to run, where the power outlets are, access to the space, and anything else found on arrival.
If the price changes, you should be told before the work starts, and you can decide whether to go ahead. Any price given on this site or in an estimate is in US dollars, and it does not include sales tax, permit fees or anything else your local rules may require unless stated in writing. Payment is arranged directly with the provider who does the work, not through this site.
Booking a call
The “Book a Call” option opens a scheduling page hosted by cal.com. That page belongs to the provider and is subject to its own terms. A time you pick there is a time to talk about your project. It is not, on its own, a booked installation.
Scheduling, rescheduling and cancellations
You are welcome to send an estimate request, and to schedule, reschedule or cancel a call, at no charge and with no notice requirement. If you no longer want to go ahead, simply say so.
Centered TV Mounting does not charge a cancellation fee, a rescheduling fee, a no-show fee or a deposit through this site. There is none to state here because none has been set.
An installation appointment is a separate matter, and it is arranged with the installation professional who will do the work. That provider may agree its own scheduling and cancellation terms with you directly — including, for example, what happens if nobody is at the property or the job cannot go ahead on the day. Ask them what applies before you confirm a date. Anything of that kind should be told to you in advance and in writing; you should never be charged for something you were not told about beforehand.
Timing on the day can move. Traffic, weather, a job that runs long or an illness can shift a window, and you should be told as early as possible and offered the next time that works.
What is needed from you
To get the installation right, a few things are needed from your side:
- Give accurate details about the TV, the mount if you already have one, and the room. A wrong screen size or an unexpected wall changes what the job takes, and an estimate based on wrong details will not hold.
- Make sure someone 18 or older is at the property for the appointment and can make decisions about where the TV goes.
- Give access to the wall. Furniture, electronics and anything fragile should be moved beforehand, or mentioned in advance so the installer can plan around it.
- Confirm you are allowed to have the work done. If you rent, or your building, condo board or HOA has rules about drilling, wall changes or wiring, get that permission first. The installer installs where you tell them to, and cannot check your lease or your association rules for you.
- Say what you know about anything hidden in the wall, such as recent plumbing or electrical work, so it can be planned around.
- Keep pets secure and mention anything on site that affects safety.
The work itself
Mounting a TV means making holes in a wall. Some marks are unavoidable and cannot be undone, and taking a mount down later leaves them behind. Walls — especially in older homes — can hide pipes, wiring, ducts or previous damage that is not visible from the outside. A careful installer checks before drilling and will stop and talk to you if something unexpected turns up.
Where cables run inside a wall, the work has to follow the building and electrical rules that apply locally. If what you want is not allowed, or is not safe, you should be told and offered the closest thing that is.
The work is done with the mount and hardware agreed for the job. Neither Centered TV Mounting nor the installer is the manufacturer of your TV, your mount or your other equipment, and neither provides or extends their warranties. Please follow the weight limits the manufacturer sets, and ask before you hang anything else off a mount or move it yourself.
This site does not publish a workmanship guarantee. Any guarantee on a job is the one the installation professional puts in writing for that job, and you are welcome to ask what it covers before you agree to a date.
This site makes no licensing, bonding, insurance, certification or background-check claim about anyone. If your building, your association or your insurer needs to know what applies to your job, ask before the work is scheduled and get the answer in writing from the professional who will be doing it.
Messages you agree to receive
When you submit the estimate form you agree to be contacted about that request by phone, text or email at the details you gave, including by automated means, and including by the installation professional arranging your job. Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or tell us in a reply to stop calls or emails. How those details are handled is covered in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
The site is here for people arranging TV installation work. Please do not:
- Submit false details, or someone else's contact details without their permission.
- Use the estimate form or the privacy request form to send advertising, solicitations or spam.
- Scrape, copy or republish the site, or use automated tools to submit its forms or get around their limits.
- Try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or anything connected to it.
- Use the site for anything unlawful.
We may block access or refuse a request if any of this happens.
Intellectual property
The text, layout, design, graphics and images on this site belong to Centered TV Mounting or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own use in arranging work. You may not copy, republish, sell or use them commercially without written permission.
TV brand names and product names on this site belong to their respective owners. They are listed to say what equipment gets worked with. Mentioning them does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by or endorsement from those companies.
Third-party links and services
The site links to, and relies on, services run by other companies — hosting, email, the scheduling provider behind “Book a Call” (cal.com), and any analytics service in use at the time. We do not control those companies, their websites or their terms. Following a link away from this site means the other company's terms and privacy policy apply to what happens there, and we are not responsible for their content or their services.
Disclaimers
The site and the information on it are provided as they are. We keep it accurate as far as we reasonably can, but we do not promise it is complete, current or free of errors, and we do not promise the site will always be available or free of interruptions.
Anything on this site about TVs, mounts, walls or installation is general information, not advice about your specific home. Your wall, your equipment and your local rules decide what is actually possible, and that is settled when someone looks at the job — not from a web page.
To the fullest extent the law allows, and except for anything agreed in writing for a specific job, we disclaim implied warranties relating to the website itself, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses — such as lost income, lost data, or loss of use of your equipment — arising from the site or from the coordination of a job through it. Where the law allows liability to be limited, our total liability for a claim connected with the site is limited to what you paid us, which for the coordination service provided through this site is nothing.
Because the installation is carried out by the installation professional under the arrangement you make with them, claims about the installation work itself are a matter between you and that provider. That said, if something goes wrong, tell us — see below.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
If something goes wrong with the work
Tell the installation professional first, describe the problem, and give them a fair chance to look at it and put it right. Photos help. Most things that go wrong on an installation are fixable. If you are not getting anywhere, tell us as well — we would rather know.
Privacy
Information you send through the site is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. That page also has the form for any request about your personal information.
Governing law and disputes
Centered TV Mounting arranges work in more than one state and has not selected a single governing jurisdiction for these terms, so none is asserted here. The law that applies to a dispute, and the place it can be brought, depend on where the transaction or the service happened and on the law that applies in those circumstances — normally the state where the property is.
Please raise a problem with us first; most things are settled that way. These terms do not require arbitration and do not ask you to give up a jury trial or the right to take part in a class action, and nothing here removes a right you have under the consumer protection law of the state you live in — including the right to bring a claim in small claims court where you live. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the business changes. The version in effect when you submit a request is the one that applies to that request. When we update them, we will change the dates at the top of this page.
