Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 18, 2026 · Last updated: September 18, 2026
This policy describes how the site works today and is written to be accurate rather than exhaustive. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and it is not legal advice. Centered TV Mounting should have its own counsel review it as the business grows.
Who we are and what this covers
Centered TV Mounting is a TV mounting and installation brand. This policy explains what personal information we collect through centvmount.com, what we do with it, who else can see it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers the website, the estimate form on it, the call booking, and the emails, calls and texts that follow from a request you send us.
“Centered TV Mounting”, “we” and “us” in this policy mean the business that operates this website under that name.
The site is intended for people in the United States who are arranging work on a home, currently in New York, New Jersey and Florida. Some sections below describe tools that are only used when they have been set up for this site — those sections say plainly whether the tool is switched on right now, and this page is updated when that changes. Using the site is also subject to our Terms of Service.
What this website does
It matters for privacy, so it is worth being plain about it. Through this website we:
- take inquiries from people who want a TV mounted;
- collect the details of the job — the room, the wall, the TV, the mount;
- provide preliminary estimate information where the estimator supports it;
- let you schedule a call instead, if you would rather talk;
- and coordinate contact between you and an installation professional who can do the work.
The installation itself may be carried out by an independent installation provider rather than by us. Where that happens, the provider confirms the scope with you, agrees the final price, schedules the visit, does the work and is paid by you directly. That means your project details and your contact details are passed to that provider so they can contact you and carry out the job — see who we share your information with below.
No payment for an installation is taken through this website. We do not ask for card or bank details here and we have no reason to hold them.
The short version
- We collect what you type into the estimate form, plus the ordinary technical data any website receives.
- We use it to prepare your estimate, contact you about the job, and arrange for the work to be done.
- We share it with the installation professional who would do your job. We do not sell it, and we do not feed it to lead-buying marketplaces.
- You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it — using the form at the bottom of this page.
- Advertising and analytics scripts only load when an account has been connected to the site. None is connected right now.
That summary is here to be readable. The sections below are the actual policy.
Information you give us
We try to collect only what we need to price and schedule a TV installation.
- Your answers in the estimate form. Your ZIP code, and the state it corresponds to; how many televisions you want mounted and roughly what size they are; where each one is going, such as a standard wall or above a fireplace; the wall material; whether you already have a mount and what kind; whether you want the cables hidden; and any add-ons such as a soundbar, a shelf or taking an old TV down.
- Your contact details. Your email address, your first and last name, and your phone number, so we can send the estimate and reach you about the job. These are asked for at the end, after the project questions.
- A record of what you agreed to. When you submit the form we store the exact wording of the consent notice shown above the submit button, along with the date and time you accepted it, so both of us have the same record of it.
- A privacy request. If you use the form at the bottom of this page, we receive the name, email address, request type and message you enter, so we can find your records and answer you.
- Anything else you send us. What you write or say in an email, a text message or a phone call about your project, including photos of the room if you choose to send them.
We do not ask for payment card numbers, bank details, Social Security numbers or any other government identification number on this site, and we have no reason to hold them. Please do not send them to us.
Information collected automatically
- Standard web request data. Your IP address, browser and device type, the page you came from, the pages you viewed, and the date and time. Our hosting provider records this as part of serving the site and keeping it secure.
- A short-lived anti-abuse record. When the estimate form or the privacy-request form is submitted, the server briefly keeps the submitting IP address in memory so that the same source cannot flood the form. That record covers up to an hour, is held only in the server's memory, and is not stored with your request or written to a database.
- How you found us. The estimate request includes the address of the page you submitted it from, the site or link that referred you, and any campaign tags that were in the web address — so we can tell which listing or ad brought you to us.
How we use your information
- To prepare your estimate and send it to you.
- To contact you about your project, confirm details we are unsure about, and agree on an appointment.
- To pass your job to an installation professional who can do it, and to coordinate between the two of you.
- To answer questions you send us.
- To keep a record of what was quoted and what was arranged, so we can answer follow-up questions later.
- To keep the site working, prevent spam and abusive submissions, and understand which parts of the site help people and which do not.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to establish or defend a legal claim if we ever have to.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you, and we do not use it to build an advertising profile of you.
Who we share your information with
The installation professional for your job. To get your TV mounted, the details of the job and the contact details you gave us are passed to the installation professional or installation company who would carry out the work. They use them to reach you, confirm the scope, agree the final price and schedule the visit. Once you are dealing with them directly, they are responsible for the information you give them and for their own handling of it. We share what is needed for your job, and we do not offer your details to providers who are not doing your job.
Service providers. A small number of outside companies help run the website and the inbox. They only handle your information to perform work for us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Depending on how the site is configured, they include:
- Website hosting and content delivery.
- Email, so your request reaches our inbox and our reply reaches you.
- A scheduling provider (cal.com), if you book a call through the site.
- Analytics, if and when an analytics account is connected.
These providers keep their own ordinary server records, and they may store information in the United States or elsewhere they operate.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, if we have to respond to a valid legal request, or if it is needed to protect our rights, our people or the public. If the business is ever sold or merged, customer records may transfer as part of it; this policy would keep applying to information collected before the transfer until you are told otherwise.
We do not sell your personal information
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not rent or trade lead lists. Passing your job to the installation professional who will do it is not the same thing: it is how the work gets done, it is limited to what that job needs, and your details are not offered to a market of contractors bidding for them.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site sets no advertising cookies of its own and uses no cross-site tracking pixels of its own. Two things do get stored in your browser:
- Your place in the estimate form. Your answers to the project questions are saved in your own browser's session storage, so reloading the page does not cost you your progress. Your name, email address and phone number are never saved there. It belongs to your browser, not to us — your browser discards it when you close the tab, and you can clear it yourself in your browser settings.
- Analytics cookies. Set only when an analytics account is connected to the site. See the next section for what is connected right now.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; the estimate form still works if you do. Some browsers send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in the first place, so there is nothing for such a signal to switch off here.
Analytics
No analytics or tag-manager account is connected to this site right now. The scripts are written so that they only load when an account ID has been configured, so no analytics cookies or measurement identifiers are set by us, and no usage data leaves the site to an analytics provider.
If analytics is switched on later, this section will name the provider and the date at the top of this page will change.
Booking a call
If you choose “Book a Call” instead of filling in the estimate form, the site opens a scheduling page hosted by cal.com, a third-party scheduling provider. Whatever you enter on that page — typically your name, your email address and the time you pick — is collected by that provider on our behalf and handed to us as a booking. Their own privacy policy governs what happens on their page, and this policy covers the booking details once they reach us.
What happens to your estimate request
When you submit the form it is sent over an encrypted connection to this site's own server, which checks that the answers are complete and well-formed before accepting them.
From there it is emailed, again over an encrypted connection, to the inbox where estimate requests are handled, so that the person preparing your estimate can act on it. The email provider handles the message to do work for us and is not permitted to use it for its own purposes.
In either case, your request is not sold, auctioned or passed to lead marketplaces or advertising networks.
Calls, texts and email
When you give us your phone number on the estimate form, you are asking to be contacted about that request — by phone, text or email, at the number and address you gave, including by automated means, and including by the installation professional arranging your job. That is the wording shown above the submit button, and agreeing to it is not a condition of buying anything. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.
To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message from us. To stop calls or emails, tell us in a reply and we will stop, or use the form at the bottom of this page. If we ever send marketing email, every message will carry an unsubscribe link. Opting out of marketing does not stop the messages needed to complete a job you have already scheduled, such as an arrival notice on the day.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond to your request, facilitate the service you asked for, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain legitimate business records. When none of those reasons still applies, we delete the information or strip out the details that identify you.
We have not set a single fixed period, because what is reasonable differs between a request that never became a job and a job that was completed and invoiced. If you want yours removed sooner, ask — see the next section.
The anti-abuse record described above lives in the server's memory for up to an hour. Hosting, email and analytics providers keep their own logs under their own retention schedules, and an installation professional who received your job keeps their own records under their own.
How we protect your information
The site is served over an encrypted connection, both forms are submitted over one, and access to requests is limited to the people who need it to quote or arrange the work. We collect no payment card or government identification numbers here, so there are none to lose. No website, email system or phone is perfectly secure, though, so we cannot promise absolute security — please do not send us sensitive documents by email.
Your choices and your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, give you a copy of it, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Depending on the state you live in, some of these may be legal rights rather than a courtesy, and several states also give you the right to appeal if we turn a request down. We will not treat you differently, or give you worse service or pricing, because you exercised a privacy right.
Use the form below to make a request. So that we do not hand someone else's information over, we may ask you to confirm a detail from the original request, such as the ZIP code or the email address you used. An authorized agent may make a request for you if they can show they are allowed to act on your behalf. Where state law sets a deadline for answering a request of this kind, we follow it, and we will tell you if we need the extension the law allows.
If your request is about work an installation professional carried out, tell us in the message and we will pass the request on to them as well as acting on what we hold ourselves.
One practical note: if you ask us to delete your information while a job is scheduled, that job may not be able to go ahead, and we may still need to keep the records our tax and legal obligations require.
Children's privacy
This site is meant for adults arranging work on a home. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, use the form below and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business changes, as the tools described above are switched on or off, or as the law requires. When we do, we will change the dates at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you directly.
Submit a privacy request
This is how to reach us about your information: what we hold, a correction, a deletion, or anything else covered above. It goes straight to the person who handles these, and we reply to the email address you give.
How to contact us
For anything about this policy or about your information, use the privacy request form above. For anything about a job or an estimate, start an estimate request or book a call.
